J Family
I knew I was in for a fun photo session when these parents informed me that their children’s initials spelled out S.O.S. This family and I have been trying to connect for quite some time but our schedules and the weather were never cooperative. Needless to say, we finally made it happen and it was worth it 10 times over! Not only was this family just strikingly beautiful, they were funny and tremendous sports throughout the entire session. We had beautiful lighting and a relaxed setting. With three little ones, all under the age of 5, mom and dad were convinced this session would be a total disaster resulting in multiple melt downs. I am happy to report, we had NO meltdowns and the session was simply amazing. As I have mentioned about other families I have met, you know when you meet a person or a family and you just adore them instantly? I could have spent at least another hour or two just talking and being silly. One of my favorite things about being a professional photographer is the human connection. You meet a beautiful family, spend a session laughing and playing. Then you go through their photographs, editing and retouching and can reflect time and again just how unique and precious each person in that family really is. The most exciting part is finally revealing the pictures to the family so they can slow down for a moment and get a glimpse into their own lives and see just how amazing and beautiful they really are.
